About the Angelic Empyress:
 Gracefully she glides on the stage with music as a partner and God as her lead. Whenever she dances, there is a clear message and power that comes forth. She is TAE and she is here to stay!

She has been dancing since 1995, has won dance awards and has backgrounds in ballet, jazz, bellydance and African dance but there was never anything like Liturgical. "I got my first taste of Praise in 1998. The freedom you feel in it is like no other dance form. It is like dancing in a spiritual heaven sometimes... and like warfare in the spiritual battlefields at other times. Its overwhelming!"

In 2000 she focused on liturgical dance and redefining what it means to the world. Her vision is to allow it to reach a new level in church and be powerful enough to take outside of the church. "I want to use it to Teach. A vehicle not often seen in the dance world. So I am using all spoken means (from poetry, to monologues, scriptures, messages etc...) and creating danceable pieces with them. When the dance is added, it becomes a LIVING SERMON... a dance that teaches." TAE is taking the Living Sermon and running with it! It has already gained favorable feedback in her home church of Victory Outreach - Fort Worth as well as Lockheed Martin, now she is ready to take it further.

TAE also began teaching Liturgical dance in 2000 by founding the first Christian Dance team on Southern University's Campus called the Centras, which ran from 2000 until 2005 when she graduated and moved to Texas. She also re-started Zion's Angels at Mount Zion First Baptist church and currently teaches the V.O. Women's Home Dancers.

Coming this year will be her first Dance DVD entitled "Hold On" which TAE deems as her dance "Single" as it will fully showcase what a Living Sermon is...as well as be her first 100% original piece. "I constructed the poem, created the dance as well as composed the music. It is totally my work. I am absolutely proud of it!"

The Angelic Empyress: This is my dance name and also the main name i use for my art site. This name has a lot of meaning to me. Now, I don't claim to be an 'Angel' as Angelic is 'Angel-like' which means I am constanstly trying to be one of God's children, His Earthly Angels...ones who help and bring others to Him. The Empyress...well I AM part of a royal family aren't I? :) The spelling has to do with my current story: Astria Legends.
