Astria Productions is a Christian Production Company emphasizing the Arts as a means to educate, build self-esteem, and promote peace and cultural inclusion of people of all different backgrounds and races. We encourage Christian creative growth within the company with innovative productions, cutting-edge choreographic opportunities and engaging classroom training. We seek opportunities to give back to the community, raise funds for charities, and spread the Spirit and Word of God through our works.

Visions (message from the Founder):

When I first began developing Astria Productions, I recognized that people have their own lives, whether they have a family, full time job, other aspirations or other obligations. I also realized that some, even though they have obligations, desire a chance to be on stage, to be a part of something that is dedicated to changing lives and giving back, and also become involved a Christian Organization that is pushing the envelope in new and creative ways. From this I strived to make Astria Productions not your run-of-the-mill 9 to 5 company. We have a set team of Dancers and other artists that make up the company, but they choose just how involved they would like to be. Each production requires no more than a couple hours one a week for individual practice, once a month group practice and any promotional performances that goes along with it. Should a participant want to become more involved, he or she can utilize other skills in other areas of the production as well as participate in more than one production that will be practicing at a given time. A participant must only be involved in at least one project for a group of projects run interval. (i.e. every participant must be always be active). The company itself requires each dancer to be involved in classes which are one hour once a week. This scheduling allows participants to be involved in this as well as their other obligations.

I want a company that really does something to give back with everyone of its performances. That is why for each run of a production, a portion of the proceeds will go to a certain charity, picked by me or by one of the dancers. By choosing different charities for each production, participants are able to see their hard work pay off to causes that are close to their heart. It really makes a difference.
